In prepartion for our new website, the talented Gabrielle Devereux and model Ria Bhogal set off to St Bathan’s to capture these stunning photographs.
They couldn’t have picked a more picturesque day to show off both the garments, and the surreal surroundings of the Blue Lake.
The Blue Lake is part of central Otago’s mining history. The township of St Bathan’s was established in 1863 to service gold mines during the gold rush. The Blue Lake is man-made, and resulted from Kildare Hill being sluiced for gold.
I was very lucky to be able to work with Dunedin photographer Gabrielle Devereux who is in her final year the the Otago Polytech. Her passion is fashion photography, and she has already worked with NZ labels Yumei, and Company of Strangers. Check out more of her work on her website.
